THE GREAT GATSBY : CHAPTER 1

During Chapter 1, I noticed that the main character was a man named Nick and came from the Dukes of Buccleuch, who also was in a Civil War, while his cousin Daisy got married and had her child. When Nick had gone to visit Daisy, Tom, and Miss Baker, he was then to find out more than usual. He heard about the butlers past as to the reason he became a butler because of his nose, also heard how Daisy had asked thank god it's a girl when she had woken up to ask if her child was a boy or a girl nd had exclaimed i hope the girl is a fool, because that's the only way you can make it through this world. A beautiful fool. When he had left to go home to find Mr. Gatsby outside lonesome to see that he vanishes from near some water, Nick is left to see a green light at the end of the dock.
